They are coming from all over the world, there will be a marathon of events but its not the Olympics – it’s the Edinburgh Festival Fringe – the biggest arts festival in the world.
Yours truly has relocated to Edinburgh in advance of the cultural Olympiad. It’s bigger than ever with 2695 shows in all and I am here to seek out the best of what’s on offer. I will be looking at theatre, musicals and opera, dance and physical theatre and cabaret.
